Happy Halloween! (or honestly, happy end to the Hallo-weekend) I have never been SUPER into the holiday but I have quite a few friends who are the opposite of not super into it and I usually end up just soaking up their enthusiasm for all things spooky. Here’s what I’ve been up to this past week + a few things I have been loving:
eating// Simple foods. Something about dorm dining hall food makes you want to just have the most basic plain foods when you can. I went home this weekend and was in love with plain eggs cooked at home. Plain apples, black coffee, plain crackers (Triscuits. Contrary to some people’s popular belief, they’re like, really, really good. Here are a few ways you can make them even more yum that I am super into. ), also plain baby carrots. Call me crazy but literally give me some fresh produce and I will be your best friend.
reading// professors emails. lol. and a lot of them. I don’t have any midterms with my classes I am currently enrolled in for the semester (& trust me I am NOT complaining), but between spring enrollment and test after test and online quiz, I am up to my ears in school work almost every night. Not gonna lie, I kinda love it. Being myself, I constantly have to be busy and if that means busy doing rational function graphs, so be it.
watching// Gilmore Girls. yeah, I am one of those awful people who started to watch it because of the new season coming out soon. I am only on the first few episodes but I am pretty sold on it so far. Who doesn’t love a good girl power dup anyways?
sippin// As I mentioned early, I am baby-stepping my way into enjoying black coffee and am sort of real proud of myself. Despite the venti rasberry white chocolate latte I had this morning (It’s a Monday people) I am really into just black for getting shiz done.
loving// GOING HOME!!! I made a quick stop home for the weekend to see all my favorite people and as much as I love college and all the fun experiences here, it was so good to sleep in my own bed and idk, take a bath, or three??
Have a safe and spooky halloween!
until next time, xoxo, Ally
