my oldie but goodie friend Elle and I traveled downtown after school Friday for a quick little blog pic and sushi sesh and it was seriously so much fun. 10/10 would recommend random adventures and dressing up on the daily. after receiving my ACT score I took a little trip and bought everything that made my heart happy (aka many tshirt dresses and big warm scarves and everything that reminds me of fall). here are a few of the snaps elle and I took: I am ADORING this felt hat and my leather sneaks lately. i feel so sassy in them and paired with my new tshirt dress and marble necklace….i could basically take on the world. oh and did I mention that dress has pockets…? yeah i didn’t think it could get any better either.

looking through these pics while posting them just now makes me remember how highly i stress dreaming big. seriously, shoot for the stars kid.

I feel like I mention this in every life post lately but life is seriously flying by. I’m a senior and life is currently one big mess of trying to cherish every moment of senior year and wish myself to college every other day. So here is a little teeny tiny update for you all of where I am at in the world at the moment.

college// after taking the ACT one last time in September I am fully decided (and in love) with attending the University of Kansas this upcoming fall. my dad was a Jayhawk and I am too excited to carry on that tradition in my family! so much crimson and blue pride and so much rock chalking going on in my house lately! If you’re even slightly interested in KU or are even just a lover of their (amazing) basketball team, check out THIS VIDEO by a former Ku student who was a football player and poet, it’s seriously chills worthy and I tear up every time I watch it.

school life// our school’s huge student led fundraiser just wrapped up and so i’m finally catching a tiny break. I am president of our student board and the group of girls is seriously one of my favorite combinations of people ever, so outspoken and such leaders it makes me proud to be in a room with them every week during meetings, so to any of you reading this: (andie, claire, mary, allie, mal, bunny, lily, emma, and cass) i heart you all bunches and keep up the fab work ladies. I’m also on our dance team and football season games are just coming up starting this friday so i am SO ready to go out and have some friday night lights fun!

HELLO FRIENDS AND HELLO FALL! The season of all things pumpkin and the most beautiful clothing ever is finally upon us and I am more than thrilled. i have a golden so this picture hurts my heart with its cuteness overload. also the pumpkin patch is 100% my favorite activity of all time in the fall. just call me a season pass holder…but really..i am.

i found you little fall booties…ha ha ahah i’m a lot less funny than I think i am. but really these booties are DARLING along with just about every fall shoe out there. Target has gorgeous fall shoes right now i cannot wait to snag here soon and stomp through leaves in!

this grey sweater/sassy topknot combo are seriously worth drooling over. I love love LOVE basic sweaters for fall and can’t wait to add a few (too many) to my collection this year to pair with leggings or colored pants and those lovely booties!

i have NOT yet picked up a pair of bean boots and am not sure if i’m going to…I’m currently deciding between these and the simply adorable Sperry ones in the hot pink color because when it comes in pink…you buy it in pink.
