I had the awesome opportunity to head down to Lawrence, KS this Friday with my dad and had an absolute blast so thought you would like to check out some of my adventures!

It was 75 and sunny and honestly gorgeous for the entire campus tour

not gonna lie i would’ve been a little creeped out of the hawks mascots if i attended school back when these guys were cheering on the teams

this jayhawk was much more my style. speaking of style i sported my lilly shorts and a button up which was perfect for the weather. sperrys got me through the miles of walking during the day and some shades were for sure put into play with that Kansas sun

towards the end of the tour we made a private stop at Allen Fieldhouse and i was freaking out to say the least. I’ve only been to one KU basketball game in my life but the chills were still there minus the 16k people it houses on game days (sold out for 11 years may i add, and i mean we kind’ve invented the game of basketball its no big deal)

overall i fell head over heels in love with Lawrence and hopefully cannot wait to be a Jayhawk in a few years! rock chalk and have a great weekend!

Hey friends! A super cute blogger named Maria tagged me to do a fun “all about me, facts you didn’t know” post and I’m too excited so let’s jump right into things:

{1} i think i may actually know what I want to do with my life, which surprises me because I am undesicive as heck when it comes to all other aspects of my life. I fell in love with the concept of being a kindergarten teacher earlier this year and I haven’t looked back. The thought of loving my job every day and coming to “work” with kids who are sponges at that age and ready and thrilled to learn makes me already pumped to inspire these little ones someday.

{2} i hate anything carbonated..pop included. the thought of it makes me want to vomit. my dentist and teeth thank me.

{3} this whole girly preppy style hasn’t always been quite my thing. until high school i was quite the tomboy *no pictures needed* and little hints of it still appear in my style today like my love for baseball hats, converse, and boyfriend jeans.

{4} i ADORE to-do lists and planning but the actual getting the stuff done…ha

{5} Target is my ultimate weakness and I truly should not be allowed in with money; and half of it i spend on grocery shopping. I utterly am obsessed with grocery shopping, it’s therapeutic to me honestly…plus food is great.
